Düsseldorf – Amsterdam

Unless a major natural disaster is bound to happen by the end of the week, I’ll be on my way to Amsterdam this Friday. I feel exhausted by work, writing papers and chasing deadlines, so I decided to pack my bags and get lost for a couple of days. It took me some time to learn that one is supposed to take a break now and then. But it’s like running long distances — you’d better be smart or you won’t be able to make it to the finish line.

Oh, and by the way — I got that 6+ route yesterday! I still have to work on my climbing technique, but I’m proud with the progress I’m making.
